Kryptos FOIA Day Fourteen
The first couple days were the worst for this Kryptos FOIA project, now we’re down to the last 7 days and I have found myself adopting a zen-like peace as the 3 week-to-respond-or-things-get-cheaper deadline approaches. I think as long as those hard-working and under-appreciated FOIA officers aren’t forced to respond with the results on day [...]

FBI Kryptos FOIA Response Letter

Kryptos FOIA Day Twenty One
We’ve hit that magical number where we are over 20 days past my submission of the Kryptos FOIA letters. So far only the FBI has responded and without any tangible information. I’m not sure how this works but I figure worst case scenario they don’t count the 20ish days until they receive it. From the [...]

The latest they could respond for the Kryptos FOIAs
Still waiting on the NSA Kryptos FOIPA request to show up in the mail. This is the latest day I can figure that the response could arguably show up in the mail and still fall within the 20 day required response time. Nothing yet… -Kryptosfan Tagged: FOIA, kryptos

Kryptos Fans Kryptos Clue Submissions
So, fans of Kryptos and attempters of K4. I’ve never actually submitted an answer to the Kryptos Clue Form until today but Scarlet has and it’s been 2 weeks with no response. Kryptos K4 Thought Challenge
Kryptos fans, as we finish the year, let’s play with a little thought experiment.
It might help folks clear their brains of the cluttered and dusty concepts they’ve been pounding away at. We all attack Kryptos’ K4 from the side of decryption. It might be worthwhile to examine the troubles of encryption. Think of a 2-step encryption method to encipher a 100 letter sentence. The only rules are #1 it must make frequency analysis useless, #2 it can only involve keywords or hints from the rest of Kryptos, #3 it must be solvable with pencil and paper, #4 it must be solvable.
Good luck!
